This movement operates on a weight-driven, cable system, providing reliable power and consistent timing for approximately eight days on a full wind. It features a bim-bam strike, producing a single strike at the half-hour and a two-tone strike on the hour on a set of chime rods or gongs, giving your clock an engaging traditional sound.
